Thanks to planned investments here at our site in Neukirchen near Chemnitz, we can fine-cast for you more productively and with an expanded portfolio. The NRU GmbH team will support you in your plans and projects with its usual full power and professional advice.
During the last 12 months an extended workbench in the segment of investment casting for ferrous and non-ferrous materials has been set up and is now available for the expansion of the production capacities of NRU GmbH. By expanding our capacities, we are increasing our production portfolio and competitiveness both in the prototype business from quantity one up to small series orders. At the same time, the quality inspection team has been expanded and trained so that, as usual, all castings are 100% quality inspected at the NRU GmbH site, either in their raw or finished state, in accordance with your specifications.
Investment casting is a primary forming process for the production of castings, which have to meet the highest demands in terms of dimensional tolerance, accuracy of detail and surface quality. It is therefore suitable for the production of single pieces and small series and is often used in the prototype sector.
You need a reproduction or a spare part, but you don't have a 3D data set? Depending on the data situation, we can create a three-dimensional view of your component from a 3D drawing or an old part.
Wax part production is increasingly taking the form of hybrid production: vacuum casting is supplemented by wax pressure processes or the use of burn-out patterns. For smaller quantities, production takes place in a silicone mold; for larger quantities, we use wax injection molds. We will consult you to find the most optimal manufacturing process together.
The production of investment cast steel components is carried out either in the classic investment casting process by means of a ceramic shell and the use of wax models or as a hybrid production with the use of burn-out 3D printed models. We process all common steels and steel alloys up to a component weight of 35Kg and a component size of 500 x 500 x 500mm. Small series, large series or prototypes, we have the right solution for you.
No matter whether you already have a finished 3D data set, want to make constructive changes to your component or plan a completely new component and want to realise this with 3D data, we are happy to support you with your problem.
The production of plastic parts in our company is done by vacuum casting in silicone moulds. With the 2K-PUR casting resin systems, small series with quantities of 5 to 200 pieces can be realised. The spectrum of material properties and surfaces ranges from high-gloss, transparent and flame-retardant to structured.
There are many three-dimensional printing processes. This also opens up a wide range of different materials, accuracies, surfaces, etc., which can be selected specifically to meet your requirements. Due to the short process times, these methods are ideally suited for the creation of a single part or prototype.
We carry out numerous heat treatments to modify the mechanical properties of our castings. Depending on the material and requirements, we will be happy to advise you on a suitable heat treatment.
The mechanical pre- or final machining of prototypes and small series is often the final step in our production. In this process, production-relevant allowances are removed and the final geometry is produced on the basis of your quality requirements as well as drawings and data records.
Aluminum investment castings can be produced via the ceramic shell or by using the flask process. The realization of complex geometries, undercuts or filigree channels is no problem. Aluminum - castings are produced up to a weight of 35Kg and dimensions of 500 x 500 x 500mm. The tool-less production enables us to realize your components in less than 10 working days. We manufacture from piece number 1 up to large series.
