Against the background that Poland has repeatedly been one of the most dynamic economies within the EU in recent years, Poland continues to offer promising cooperation and sales potential for Saxon companies. In addition to the intensive exchange of machine tools and materials handling and drive technology, the demand of Polish industrial companies for innovative materials and state-of-the-art automation and digitalisation solutions is currently increasing.

The Polish-Saxon Business Forum is organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in cooperation with the Saxon State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport and Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH, and this year once again brought together representatives from both regions. The participants were able to find out about current and planned projects in the lecture programme, make new contacts during the business speed dating and personally see the capabilities of potential Polish partners and learn more about their current challenges during a technical excursion on the following day.

During this event, NRU GmbH was able to present itself as a medium-sized company with the topic “Innovative material mix in Saxony’s manufacturing – best practice” and inform the audience about the manufacturing process of investment casting, innovative material combinations and the challenges of digitalisation. This made it possible to establish numerous new contacts and partnerships and create a lively exchange about current fields of activity.

We thank you for the interesting discussions and look forward to future projects.
